Former Ludlow mayor (1962-1966) and city councilman for 26 years. Martin
presided over the city's centennial celebrations in the summer of 1964.
For many years, Martin operated an automobile repair shop. He retired
in 1962. In the last years of his life, Martin lived at 101 Moore Street
in Bromley.
Martin died on August 4, 1974 at the age of 78. He was survived by his
wife, Catherine, and two sons: Charles Martin and Richard Martin. Funeral
services were held at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home with burial at Forest
lawn Park in Erlanger.
