Hathaway Senior Citizens Apartments

Hathaway Construction

In 1969, the Arnold Ingram real estate Company purchased Hathaway Hall at 1210 Highway Avenue from Joe Spratt. The hall was demolished to make way for a senior citizen apartment complex. Construction work on the nine-story development began in the winter of 1972-1973. A crane set each apartment's kitchen and bath into place as a pre-assembled concrete unit.

An open house was held at Hathaway in December 1973. The complex filled very quickly. The convenient location and beautiful views of the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati make the Hathaway Apartments a popular place of residence for the senior citizens of the area. Hathaway Court
