Covington Book Project

At the Covington location of the Kenton County Public Library there is an extensive local history collection. The Kenton County Public Library is a major center of Northern Kentucky historical sources. We also have a strong KY history collection with related materials, especially genealogical and the Civil War. Our collection, besides books and documents, includes photographs, family files, maps, microforms,
and art work.

Contact the Main Library's Reference Desk at 859-962-4070 or search our Online Catalog to verify specific holdings in these areas.

For more information regarding the local history collection, contact David Schroeder, Local History Librarian, at dschroed@kenton.lib.ky.us or at 859-962-4085. Please include U.S. Mail address with any inquiries.

The resources on this site represent only a portion of the major genealogy/local history materials available at the Kenton County Public Library. For a complete list of records, books and microfilm materials available, consult the KCPL Online Catalog.
