For Me, For You, For Later

For Me, For You, For Later is a series of programs designed to provide the foundation of financial education to preschool-aged children and their parents. Using content developed by the Sesame Workshop, the preschool storytimes incorporate books, video clips and activities that introduce basic money concepts through everyday learning experiences.

The key messages of this initiative are:

  • Making choices are a part of managing money
  • Balancing needs and wants helps to guide choices
  • Learning to wait to spend on wants
  • Everything has a value that affects choices
  • Working at a job and earning money
  • Spending, saving, and sharing

Additional resources for parents and caregivers and activities for children are available at SesameStreet.org/save and PNCgrowupgreat.com

This grant is funded by PNC Bank and administered by the United Way.
